His program for Wednesday will have considerable importance . He will talk with membres of all parties of both houses of parliament and later have talks with Wilson at NO.10 Downing Street which will be followed by a working dinner .
Wilson is due to return from Addis Ababa and peace-marking efforts in Africa a few houra before he is scheduled to meet Diori . The two men will have much to say on the Nigerian civil war .
Diori is one of six french-speaking African leaders who are membres of the OAU (Organization for African Unity) consultative committee on Nigeria which is due to meet again on april 18.
Nilson , in his public statements in Lagos these past few days ,has emphasized that Nigerian peace moves should be laft to Africans and partioularly the OAU.
Wilson’s return to London will inevitably be delayed in Ojakwu accepts his offer for a meeting whilke he still in Africa .
But Diori is official visit until Friday afternoon . British officials Said the scheduled Wednesday talks coul easily be postponed until the end of Diori’s visit if necessary .
Diori’s other offucial contacts during his visit will be mainly xx ministers conserned with aid and trade . There have been recent encouraging discoveries of important mineral deposits in Niger , particularly of unranium which could transform the country’s
